Dear Debbie is rapidly becoming well known for answering and responding to timely issues of the day! If you need an answer that you're not getting from your establishment media, on any topic, from the New World Order to the Flight 800 crash, to just about anything. Dear Debbie probably has the answer. Many months of research has gone into this column.

Did you know that if we came under biological warfare attack, more than half of our cities are not prepared?
Did you know that there are already Iraqui soldiers here, posing as students in various universities and that 120 cities are their targets?
Did you know that there is a domestic preparedness program in effect to train these 120 cities?
Did you know that there are chemical weapons stockpiled at 8 U.S.Army installations, and must be destroyed over the next several years? What would happen in an emergency of this sort? Are we prepared?
Did you know that many celebrities, politicians, etc. are going to the pyramids to usher in the milennium in Dec.? Including former President, George Bush. Do you know why?

For all you Cajuns at heart out there, we have put together a calendar for you so that when you visit Louisiana, you can have a whole lot of Cajun fun, good food & lots of Zydeco thrown in! There's no time like now to visit LOUISIANA!

Want to know what a Cajun is? Or how about a bowl of Gumbo? The answer is somewhere in this newspaper.

My family and I had the opportunity to take in the musical "Evangeline" at the Claude Shaver Theatre on the main campus of Louisiana State University. I, for one, am delighted to be able to tell you what an extraordinary piece of work this was! We were visiting with family who live in Baton Rouge and their children go to the Episcopal High School. Their band and music director, Paul Taranto, wrote the music and lyrics for "Evangeline". To be honest, I was not expecting much, but now, I cannot say enough!

The musical is based on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "Evangeline". Longfellow's account differs from the "true" story.

For information about the "real" Evangeline, click here.

From this editor's perspective, this musical is a must see! Then go to St. Martinville to see the magnificent Evangeline Oak. I could just picture Evangeline under that tree, meeting with Gabriel. I cried which I often do and I could really feel the emotions that must have been felt that day! To find out more about "Evangeline" the musical, click here.

And please tell them about the American Street Journal, and that I sent you!
P.S.: Be sure to tell them - All the way to Broadway!
